I was with YTB Travel International as a travel agent and marketing rep, but didn’t really make any money. In fact, I just sent my cancellation letter today. We tried it for 10 months.

I booked travel but I didn’t even come close to getting back what I put in. I stayed with it hoping to take a vacation and save a decent amount of money before I quit. But, we planned a small trip and didn’t get any perks with it.

I was under the impression when I started this that I could earn income by just booking travel alone if that’s what I chose to do. That hasn’t happened for me, but I won’t say that some out there could do it. I think the way most people make money in YTB Travel International is by getting others to join.

YTB Travel International
, in my opinion, is only good for those able to travel extensively and get enough of a discount to pay for what they’ve put in to their business. Then, there are conditions to the discounts and perks you might get. If someone has the money to spend to get started ($450) and pay the $49.95 monthly fee, that do it, but if you are seriously needing to make money, I’d think twice before you jump in. There are no refunds given that I know of. I was told the only way to get a refund was to tell your credit card company it was not a legitimate charge.

Another pyramid scheme!!!
I didn’t join it to make money rather, use the "benefits" of cheap travel.

For around $400 down and $50 a month (website maintenance) you are promised all the discounts and perks travel agents receive. All of this and a cheesy ID card and information book.

I tried using in for 90 days. Every airline trip, I got cheaper fairs on "priceline.com". At the check-in counter when trying to get an upgrade, they looked at my ID and laughed. At the hotels, no discounts at all.

When I wanted my money back, they said: "we have a strict 3 day cancellation period". How can you find out if everything they say is true in 3 days???????????

I’d be very wary of them!

I have heard of it. Someone tried to recruit both my husband and myself. I am already involved in a home business, so I was not interested, but my husband did go to a meeting. He said that it seemed like you could make money, the only problem is you were competing with orbit, and all of those. We compared prices and if we were not part of the business, then it would be cheaper for us to get our travel from other places. We decided not to do it because our friends would feel the same way.

After reading these testimonies of people from all walks of life each saying exactly the same things about YTB Travel International it reminds me of this great quote my High School Teacher use to repeat over and over to us by Vince Gill which states:
Success is always temporary. When all is said and done, the only thing you'll have left is your character.
Now, with that said My only question is "Is there really any YTB INEGRITY?
